WorksOnDuo has no accounts. It shows a small number of ads from Google AdSense, which pay for running the site.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and searches are useful. Outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that identify a browser, not a person. Inside those regions it runs in Consent Mode with analytics storage denied: no analytics cookies are set and Google receives only cookieless, aggregate signals. Google signals are turned off everywhere.

You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site with Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site.

Advertising

Ads on WorksOnDuo are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, to limit how often you see an ad, and to measure and prevent fraud. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you’re asked first: until you agree, no advertising cookies are set and only limited, non-personalized ads can be shown. In US states with consumer privacy laws, such as California, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted ads with the “Do not sell or share my personal information” link Google shows on our pages. Anywhere, you can turn off personalized ads at any time in Google’s My Ad Center. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Ads never change what we say about an app. Statuses come only from the evidence described in our methodology, and ads appear only below an app’s answer and evidence.

Submissions

When you submit a report we store what you type, any screenshot you attach, and a one-way hash of your IP address (used only to limit abuse). Email is optional unless you’re a developer; we use it only to follow up on your submission. Submissions are stored privately with our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and deleted within 12 months. Screenshots are never published without review.

Third-party content

App icons and App Store screenshots are loaded from Apple’s servers, and ads from Google’s. Links to the App Store and other sites are governed by their own policies.
