Questions
Which photo & video apps work on iPhone Duo?
All of them run on iPhone Duo. Of the 20 we track, 9 are confirmed to use the whole inner display: Canva AI Photo & Video Editor, FaceApp, Facetune, KICK, Edits and VLLO.
Do photo & video apps have black bars on iPhone Duo?
10 of the 20 we track show black bars or unused space today, including Google Photos, CapCut, Lightroom Photo Editor & Video, Cantina and Skylight App. Apps built with the iOS 26 SDK or earlier run in a phone-sized window on the inner display until the developer ships an update built with the iOS 27.1 SDK. On the outer display they look normal.
Do photo & video apps work on iPhone Duo’s outer display?
Yes. The 5.4-inch outer display works like a regular iPhone screen, so every app runs there at normal phone size.
