Shopping apps on iPhone Duo

Of the 28 popular shopping apps we track on the US App Store, 11 are confirmed to fill iPhone Duo’s inner display, including Walmart, Etsy and Shop. 17 still show black bars or unused space, including Amazon Shopping, Fetch and Sam's Club Shopping & Delivery.

Shopping apps are mostly web-like grids, which adapt reasonably well once rebuilt with the iOS 27 SDK. Comparing products in two Safari windows or two apps in Split View is one of iPhone Duo's headline tricks.

Questions

Which shopping apps work on iPhone Duo?

All of them run on iPhone Duo. Of the 28 we track, 11 are confirmed to use the whole inner display: Walmart, Etsy, Shop, Target, Temu and Lowe's Home Improvement.

Do shopping apps have black bars on iPhone Duo?

17 of the 28 we track show black bars or unused space today, including Amazon Shopping, Fetch, Sam's Club Shopping & Delivery, eBay online shopping & selling and SHEIN. Apps built with the iOS 26 SDK or earlier run in a phone-sized window on the inner display until the developer ships an update built with the iOS 27.1 SDK. On the outer display they look normal.

Do shopping apps work on iPhone Duo’s outer display?

Yes. The 5.4-inch outer display works like a regular iPhone screen, so every app runs there at normal phone size.
