The best apps for iPhone Duo

This list is generated from our database and updates every day. An app only appears here once there’s public evidence that it uses iPhone Duo’s inner display well — an Apple demonstration, a developer announcement, release notes, iPhone Duo screenshots on its App Store page, or the SDK its current version was built with. For every confirmed app grouped by category, see iPhone Duo apps.

Built for Duo

Full screen, with layouts or features designed around the fold.

Runs full screen

Fills the inner display edge to edge, without Duo-specific features so far.

Apple’s built-in apps

Apple’s own apps are optimized from day one. Mail moves its controls to the side and shows your inbox beside the open message; Photos lets you drag a picture from your library into a message on the other side; Music can keep lyrics above the fold and playback controls below; Camera and FaceTime can use the outer display at the same time as the inner one.

Coming soon

Apple says Microsoft Word and Outlook are coming in the next few weeks and DoorDash later this year. Zenless Zone Zero gets its iPhone Duo update in November 2026, when UnGodly also arrives on the App Store.
